There are a few stores a half mile from the river
one is a bar. They let me charge my
laptop last april when I was floating down the river. There are fuel and cafes at I-29.
There is little elevation to them from the river.
The Meriwether Lewis dredge is in this town and is worth seeing. There is a small fee and
a museum upstairs. There is camping there too. And a bike path.
