This is a new bright spot in KC. This is only spot to get supplies in KC.
The walk to the deck from the stairs to Garrett's Corner Market is reasonable short.
The City Market is one block farther. There are metal poles you can chain your boat to.
There are restaruants at the City Market besides fresh produce and the museum.
The steamboat Arabia sank and was dug up. A small section of the boat is there.
They have a lot cargo on display. Every year they clean and add 700 - 800 more items, so
there will always be something new to see for the next 30 years.
Kansas City has all services. Most of the restuarants in the downtown KC are on the west side.
3 miles north on I-29/I-35 is North Kansas City with supplies and restuarants with no parking fees.
